I've been absent from here for a very long time. Rest assured though, I'm dead or anything. Far from it. I'm back now, and I'm here with a huge update regarding my long-running Fire Emblem fanfiction series - Fire Emblem Fates: Revolution - for all of you. I'm starting to upload each chapter of A Night with Corrin's Reforged version here on DeviantArt beginning today. Also, I've discontinued the current version of Shadow of Nohr and have begun started re-writing it. I'm currently five chapters in with many more to go.

Furthermore, I'm in the process of creating a PDF book version of A Night with Corrin: Reforged, complete with artwork by @Corrupted-Mooch! I was originally intending to share it with only dedicated readers and those within my close Fanfic circle. However, if enough people are interested, I might just share it with readers here on DeviantArt, too.

And lastly, a big apology for my being absent for such a long time. Why was I gone so long, you might wonder? I'll explain. YouTube. I started streaming during the pandemic as a bit of a side hobby. Fast-forward three years and I'm now something of a small YouTuber with nearly 1000 subscribers and a community. Spending so much time over there has essentially divided my free time between two hobbies, meaning I spend less time writing. I'm sorry if my doing so has meant those of you that read my stories have felt left out. Rest assured; I'm still quietly writing away in the background even after all this time. Alrighty, I'd say that about does it. Thanks to all of you that took the time to read this update! I'm also going to leave a link to one of my YouTube videos so you can check out my channel, if you're interested. We usually stream retro PlayStation games, GTA and Resident Evil. Almost four years ago I began working on A Night with Corrin, a large-scale Fire Emblem Fates fanfiction which saw the war between Hoshido and Nohr play out very differently. A year into the conflict, both sides have fallen into a deadlock, with Hoshido being largely unable to break through to the Nohrian capital of Windmire, and the Nohrians unable to drive the Hoshidans from their soil. The story is told from the perspective of Keiji, a common-born swordsman from the Hoshidan town of Izami who survived a massacre lead by Garon's retainer, Hans. He is tasked by Ryoma to protect his sister during her morning duties in the encampment. He soon falls in love with her, however. This story has since gone in to be one of my most well recieved and well read stories of all time, and has even spawned a successful sequel called Shadow of Nohr: a tale which sees Garron's daughter Camilla rise up in rebellion against her father in hopes of ending the war. Both stories are very important to me. However, as time went on I started getting the feeling that A Night with Corrin was lacking: that it had the potential to be a greater story and show so much more. And so, after months of consideration, I built up a framework to rework and revamp the whole story, improving everything from the writing quality and expanding the story. We started the revamp in January of 2022, and finally finished in late April of the same year. Changes include but are not limited to: - The entirety of the mid-section has been reworked - The ending has some additional chapters and a new epilogue - The overall tone has shifted with Keiji being less hostile toward Camilla - The early segment of the story has been reworked somewhat to show more of Keiji's trauma - The story is larger with the changes overall - Charlotte is a lot closer to Keiji and vice versa

- Camilla's rebellion is shown to be building in the end of the story - Kagero's role in in the story has been expanded - Hana's complicated relationship with Keiji is also a key focus - Flora's role in the plot has been drastically increased and she is essential to the middle of the story All in all, I'm very proud of this improved version of my long-running story and am very eager to share it with you all. Not only that, but I've also commissioned my talented artsy friend Corrupted-Mooch to work on some new artwork for the story. Clocking in at over 100,000 words, I can promise you a good read and an interesting additional route for the Fates storyline. This is part of the reason I've been quiet the past few months. These days I split my time between two hobbies, writing my stories and being a content creator and streamer on YouTube. I figured I'd share this little tidbit with you folks in the hopes of growing our community, and also entertaining some of you when you're bored. That said, some of you might wonder what we do on on this little channel. Well, if the fantastic banner (made for me on commission by Corrupted-Mooch by the way) didn't give it away, we're a gaming channel. We focus on a variety of games, but typically slant toward classic PS1 and PS2 stuff, alongside Resident Evil, fighting games and Soulsborne. Between you and me, this whole thing started as a bit of a side hobby while doing my Master's a couple of years back during lockdown. Now we're sitting (somehow) at 500 subs with a small community of regulars. We're also just about to have our 500 subscriber livestream special and open our community-requested Patreon.
